Quantum Healthcare Group is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Florida to join a compassionate rehab team led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. The role emphasizes resident screenings, care planning, and PT treatment within an in-house program, with the COTA as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Florida PTA License (current)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be computer/tech savvy

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings of residents to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention
• Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain data for the plan of care
• Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents as indicated per the plan of care
• Supervise PTA and support rehab department and facility success
• Actively engage with the rehab team and IDT to contribute to success
