Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a per diem role in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Florida. You will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping implement individualized treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services as directed by the OT.
• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as needed.
• Support development and execution of individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under OT supervision.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the OT.
• Document patient treatment and progress in medical records.
