Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect nursing care in a correctional environment in New Jersey. You will assess, intervene, educate, and document within nursing protocols while coordinating with the health care team and security staff.

Candidates must hold a current NJ RN license and have clinical nursing experience; correctional healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license in New Jersey.
• Clinical nursing experience, including correctional healthcare preferred.
• Ability to conduct assessments, document findings and teach patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nursing care to inmate patients per protocols.
• Perform assessments across intake, health care units and clinics.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed and document outcomes.
• Educate patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control standards.
• Support a safe, professional environment and participate in ongoing training.
