Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect care to inmate patients within a correctional healthcare environment in New Jersey. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license in-state, and demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
• Excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nursing care to inmate patients according to nursing protocols.
• Perform assessments in intake, health care units, emergency situations, chronic care clinics and medical units.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams for timely, appropriate care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor and report reactions to treatments and changes in status.
• Provide patient education and maintain accurate documentation.
