Job summary

CFG Health is seeking a registered nurse for correctional health services. Per diem shifts run 7:00 am–7:30 pm or 7:00 pm–7:30 am, with responsibilities across intake, sick calls, and housing health needs.

You will execute nursing protocols, document care, and participate in team leadership to ensure safe, effective patient care. Responsibilities include patient education, equipment management, and coordination with security and medical staff in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state of employment.
• Must comply with institutional security standards.
• Hands-On CPR certification.
• Ability to pass health and security screenings.
• May be required to work nights, weekend, and holidays.
• On-call duty may be required (short notice).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to inmate-patients.
• Perform assessments and document findings accurately.
• Lead nursing activities as assigned and supervise staff as needed.
• Educate inmates and collaborate with health care team.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
