Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team at contracting facilities. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living and supporting the Nursing Department in accordance with policies.

Key responsibilities include helping residents with daily living tasks, observing and reporting health changes, ensuring safety and infection control, and communicating with nurses to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities, including lifting, transfers, bathing, dressing and meals.
• Observe and document health, behavior, and condition changes and report to the nurse promptly.
• Respond to resident call signals and ensure timely assistance.
• Promote safety and infection control, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Communicate effectively with nurses and other staff about resident conditions.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide companionship, comfort and support to residents.
• Meet in-service requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
