Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities and assist nursing staff in a community setting. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the community.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support for daily living activities (lifting, transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Observe and document residents' health and report changes to the nurse.
• Respond promptly to resident call signals to determine needs.
• Maintain safety and infection control; report unsafe conditions.
• Communicate with nurses about resident conditions and concerns.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide companionship, comfort and support to residents.
• Meet federal and state in-service requirements.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
