Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or equivalent degree; Tennessee state board registration.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drugs, dosing, interactions, and counseling.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient counseling and information.
• Serve as alternate Pharmacy Manager in absence of PIC.
• Consult with physicians on prescriptions and issues.
• Dispense and prepare prescriptions and IV admixtures when applicable.
• Monitor therapy for contraindications and interactions.
• Maintain patient medication records and inventory control.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
