Qualifications

• Minimum two years of hospital laboratory work experience
• ASCP certification, or equivalent preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical
• Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or CLIA 42 CFR 493.1423
• Current and valid state license if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and other bodily fluids to aid in diagnosis
• Interpret lab results and identify abnormalities to assist clinicians
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and calibrate instruments
• Keep accurate records and input data into laboratory information systems
• Ensure all operations comply with hospital policies and regulations
• Perform a wide variety of lab procedures across Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Microbiology, Immunology
