Job summary

Spindle is seeking a per diem paraprofessional substitute to support students during the upcoming 26/27 school year. You will provide 1:1 support for students with profound or severe disabilities, collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement IEPs and create an inclusive learning environment.

Flexible per diem scheduling accompanies this role, enabling you to contribute to students’ growth around your availability while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a school

Qualifications

• Previous paraprofessional or school support experience.

In this vital role, you will provide 1:1 support in an educational setting, working closely with students who have profound or severe disabilities. Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school setting
• Strongly preferred: Direct experience working with individuals with profound or severe disabilities
• Ability to establish compassionate, patient, and consistent rapport with students
• Skilled at collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Demonstrates adaptability and the ability to take initiative in a dynamic environment
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities:
