Spindle is seeking an Instructional Aide Sub to provide school-based support near Macomb, IL. This flexible, per diem role lets you influence students academically, socially, and behaviorally in classroom settings.

You’ll work one-on-one or in small groups, assisting with daily routines, transitions, and behavior support plans while following IEPs. This position offers weekly pay and flexible assignments aligned with your availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• TB test as required by district.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist students with lifting if necessary.
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting.

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Experience:

• Past work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols (helpful but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
