Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a Part-time, per diem Child Safety Seat Technician to support the Voorhees and Mount Holly locations. The role includes educating new parents on car seat safety, performing inspections, and participating in community events.

Training to become/maintain a Certified CPST is required, with weekend shifts and rotating holidays. Hourly pay ranges from $21.85 to $32.83, plus benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Certified Child Passenger Safety Seat Technician; 4–5 day training and recertification every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provides education and instruction on car seat safety to new parents during the immediate postpartum period.
• Uses the NJ Highway Traffic Safety Administration car seat checklist to perform inspections.
• Demonstrates STAR qualities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Works collaboratively with other CPSTs.
• Participates in community events performing safety inspections and education.
• Makes recommendations for program enhancements.
