Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for per diem coverage to support patient care at our psychiatric facility in Phoenix. The role emphasizes supervision, interaction, and role modeling as part of the treatment team, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient location, documenting changes, implementing therapeutic interventions, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment

Responsabilidades

• Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure
• Observe and document changes in a patient's appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals
• Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient
• Comply with established policies and procedures for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment
