Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a licensed athletic trainer for a part-time, on-site role. You will provide athletic training services at events and clinics, perform preventive care, and participate in emergency response as needed.

The position requires a CAATE-approved degree, BOC certification with 50 CEUs per cycle, NJ licensure, and DOE clearance. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team and pursue flexible scheduling within our care-first model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in athletic training with CAATE approval.
• BOC certification with ongoing CEU requirements.
• NJ athletic trainer licensure and DOE clearance.
• Maintain personal liability insurance and adaptability to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic trainer services for events and competition.
• Coordinate medical and risk management for all athletes.
• Deliver preventive care (taping, bracing) and emergency care (CPR, first aid).
• Document injuries and treatments per policies and licensure standards.
• Communicate with athlete, family, and others in plan of care.
• Collaborate with JAG professionals in related programs.
