Job summary

JAG Athletic Training Services is seeking a per diem Athletic Trainer to provide services at athletic events within Hudson County, NJ. You will manage medical and risk aspects for athletes, perform preventive and emergency care, and collaborate with the supervising physician and other JAG professionals.

Prerequisites include a CAATE-approved degree, NJ Athletic Trainer license, BOC certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have CAATE-approved program and BOC certification.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey as an Athletic Trainer.
• DOE clearance required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic trainer services for events and competitions.
• Coordinate medical and risk management for athletes.
• Document injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation per policy.
• Communicate with athlete, family, and team as needed within privacy guidelines.
• Collaborate with other JAG professionals in related therapies.
