RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency in Riverdale, NY is seeking an AL-Nurse Manager for immediate per diem coverage. The role coordinates healthcare and wellness programs for residents in our Assisted Living facilities, under the Director of Nursing.

Shifts are 8:00am–4:00pm and 4:00pm–12:00am. The position emphasizes clinical assessments, ISP development, and supervision of nurses and aides to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing with a BSN.
Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
Experience supervising staff and overseeing medications in Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, or similar settings.
Strong management and supervisory skills with experience in assessments, care planning, and reassessments.
Experience with dementia and/or Alzheimer's patients is required.
Minimum of 2 years' experience providing services to older adults in home care or residential facilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee health-related services for the ALR and ALP.
Assess applicants to determine care needs.
Develop and implement individualized service plans based on assessments.
Conduct assessments and reassessments to adjust care plans.
Document resident care and status changes.
Supervise program nurses and home health aides.
