RiverSpring is seeking an AL-Nurse Manager for an immediate per diem opportunity at Riverdale-New York. Shift options are 8:00am–4:00pm and 4:00pm–12:00am. Join a team focused on improving outcomes and reducing hospitalizations for older adults.

The RiverSpring Living campus on 32 acres overlooks the Hudson River, offering comprehensive care services including nursing home care, LHCSA, rehab, and memory care. The AL-Nurse Manager coordinates care plans and supervises staff to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Experience supervising staff and overseeing medications in Assisted Living or similar settings.
• Strong management and supervisory skills with experience in assessments, care planning, and reassessments.
• Experience with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s patients is a must.
• Minimum of 2 years providing services to older adults in settings such as home care, residential care, adult care facilities, or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of health-related services for the ALR and ALP.
• Participate in the assessment and screening of applicants to determine appropriateness for care.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized service plans (ISP) based on assessments.
• Conduct assessments and reassessments to identify residents' healthcare needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document resident care and changes in status.
• Supervise program nurses and home health aides.
