Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a skilled laboratory technician to perform peptide synthesis for small-scale production and to operate automated purification systems. The role emphasizes accurate data documentation, maintaining lab inventories, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

The position is full-time, first shift, with standard hours Monday–Friday. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of lab experience in chromatographic methods and peptide synthesis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Proficient in HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, buffer prep, and peptide synthesis.
• Strong scientific, organizational, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform peptide synthesis for small scale production.
• Clean and maintain synthesizers.
• Execute automated purifications using chromatographic techniques including but not limited to HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS.
• Prepare buffers and solutions; maintain inventories and lab equipment.
• Document assay data and contribute to study reports.
• Operate, program and perform high-throughput testing using laboratory automation and liquid handling.
• Assist in troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of various aspects of laboratory operations.
• Interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

• Perform peptide synthesis for small scale production

Additional Information

Position is full-time, first-shift, Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM.

Base pay is between $23.50 - $25.50.
