Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a qualified professional for a full-time role in Rensselaer, NY. You will perform extractables/leachables testing using GC-MS, LC-MS, and ICP-MS within a GMP lab, analyze complex data, and prepare technical summaries.

Responsibilities include calibrating instruments, troubleshooting techniques, complying with cGxP standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s or master’s in chemistry with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Chemistry with 2+ years of industry experience or a Masters with relevant experience.
• Experience with GC-MS, LC-MS or ICP-MS in a regulated lab.
• Experience in a GMP laboratory environment.
• Ability to write and review detailed technical documents.
• Experience with an electronic laboratory information management system (ELIMS).
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Use GC-MS, LC-MS and ICP-MS to perform extractables and leachables testing per SOPs.
• Generate, compile and analyze complex data for reports.
• Review test results for compliance and report quality anomalies.
• Interpret data and author technical summaries.
• Calibrate instruments and verify calibration before use.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and lab techniques.
• Ensure compliance with cGxP and regulatory standards.
• Attend training as trainee and trainer as required.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, safety and compliance.
• Interact with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with method validation as needed.

Job Description

• Uses GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MS to perform extractables and leachables testing in accordance with applicable protocols and SOPs.
• Generates, compiles, and analyzes complex data.
• Reviews test results for compliance and reports quality anomalies.
• Interprets current and historical data and authorstechnical summaries.
• Calibrates instruments orverifies calibration before use.
• Troubleshoots instrumentation and laboratory techniques.
• Complies with regulatory requirements and current cGxP standards.
• Participates in required training as both a trainee and trainer.
• Maintains laboratory supplies, safety, and compliance.
• Interacts professionally with vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Assists with method validation, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • OR Master's degree with any relevant industry experience
• Experience in GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MS
• Experience operating inside of a GMP lab space
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Experience writing and reviewing detailed technical documents
• Experience with an electronic laboratory information management system
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self‑motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply. Pay is between $26.00-32.00/hr and determined based on experience.
