OVERVIEW:

A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice works with private equity-held portfolio companies to provide solutions that preserve and generate value. Our goal is to enhance transparency to key drivers and business performance, support increasing cash flow and EBITDA, and deliver benefits through hands-on operational involvement. We support PE firms in ensuring their portfolio companies have credible plans and the capacity to execute and achieve financial outcomes.

PEPI CFO Services Director, Digital Finance:

Professional Expectations:

• Expertise in Digital Finance Transformation with proven implementation experience
• Track record in assessing Finance and Accounting functions and implementing Digital technologies such as RPA, Finance Analytics, NLG, and Predictive Forecasting models to improve efficiency and transparency
• Skills in Finance & Accounting Process improvement and automation
• Knowledge of Digital Finance tools and vendors
• Experience implementing Digital tools for Finance in large public corporations or mid-sized PE-owned Portfolio Companies
• Expertise in building Predictive Forecasting Models

Scope Development & Project Management:

• Engage with clients to gather information effectively
• Facilitate client interviews, ensuring comprehensive data collection
• Define analyses needed to validate assumptions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Identify business drivers and issues using industry and functional knowledge
• Develop project frameworks within given parameters
• Derive actionable conclusions from analyses
• Lead project components and smaller projects independently
• Manage client expectations and mitigate risks
• Create actionable plans and lead workstreams
• Design initiatives to improve EBITDA, organizational structure, and cash flow
• Anticipate risks, develop contingency plans, and communicate effectively with clients
• Work collaboratively with senior management to obtain buy-in

Leadership & Financial Acumen:

• Leverage industry expertise and prior professional services experience to guide teams and promote innovative thinking
• Manage client relationships throughout projects

• Proficiency in financial modeling, statement analysis, and accounting treatments
• Drive P&L and B/S accountability

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance, economics preferred but not required
• Experience with Digital Finance technologies including RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Analytics, NLG, and data visualization
• Over 12 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity
• Proficiency in financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required
