Job summary

Main Sail LLC in Ohio seeks a PeopleSoft Solutions Architect to lead complex FIN 9.2 projects focusing on GL and Commitment Control, cross‑module integrations, and end‑to‑end workflows. You will guide functional design discussions and provide technical walkthroughs across GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing and Travel & Expense.

The role requires strong PeopleCode analysis, PS Query and Application Designer expertise, plus experience with external integrations and lifecycle testing.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, GL and KK requirements.
• Deep knowledge of cross-module integration GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing and Travel & Expense.
• Experience analyzing PeopleCode, AE programs to identify root causes and retrofitting needs.
• Proficiency in People Tools, Integration Broker, web services and REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Skilled PS Query usage and comprehensive lifecycle testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design discussions and provide technical solutions for PeopleSoft implementations.
• Collaborate with functional teams on 24/7 on-call support and incident management.
• Ensure robust integration touchpoints across GL, AP, AR, Purchasing and Travel & Expense.
• Configure and troubleshoot in PeopleSoft environments and external applications.
• Develop enhancement documentation with clear requirements and test conditions.

Job description

Job Duties - PeopleSoft Solutions Architect:

• Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK), including deep understanding of ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing frameworks.
• This resource will work on the functional team; however, advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cross‐module integration points, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense with emphasis on interdependency workflows and integration touchpoints.
• Experience with creating and entering Budget and GL Journals as well as Journal life cycle.
• Experience configuring new Business Units, Combo edits, Chartfields, Trees, etc.
• Experience with PeopleSoft architectures with external applications.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft application engines.
• Proficient using Application Designer.
• Project management experience paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including leading functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs.
• Proficient at PS Query.
• Knowledge with PeopleSoft tables and structures for research and analysts.
• Experience with production support, including issue triage, defect resolution and incident management.
• Comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing experience (i.e., vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, accounts receivable processing), including deep knowledge of test sequencing, data staging, and end‑to‑end business process validation.
• Experience writing enhancement documentation which includes and not limited to requirements gathering, business analyst, configuration, identifying tables and code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative options.
• Experience with a large Government enterprise solution is desired.
• Must be on call 24/7.

• Experience with a large Government enterprise solution is desired - Highly desired.
