Information and Technology Services (ITS) at the University of Michigan invites applications for a Migrations and Scheduling Analyst Associate based in Ann Arbor. You will migrate PeopleSoft code and manage batch schedules using RunMyJobs, while supporting enterprise cloud applications and post-migration activities.

Working in a hybrid mode, you will participate in on-call rotations and a 4-week release rotation, with occasional work outside standard hours to maintain production environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least two years of experience with confidential information, customer service, organization, prioritization, and troubleshooting.
• Basic proficiency with enterprise application software, relational databases, scripting tools, and workload automation or job-scheduling software.
• Ability to manage files and directories, execute basic system commands, and run database queries.
• Ability to analyze problems, follow detailed technical procedures, document work accurately, and elevate issues appropriately.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the controlled movement of PeopleSoft application code through non-production and production environments.
• Perform or coordinate post-migration activities, including creating/altering PeopleSoft tables, indexes, and views; Data Migration Workbench tasks; COBOL compilation.
• Verify migration results, document status, and troubleshoot migration problems.
• Use RunMyJobs to create, maintain, and monitor enterprise batch-processing schedules.
• Add job sets/names to RunMyJobs workloads and modify schedules as needed.
• Evaluate incidents, provide workarounds, and Escalate issues when appropriate.
