Job summary

Symhas is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant to support our HR/HCM systems team in Ann Arbor, MI. This hybrid role blends on-site work with remote flexibility, bridging HR processes with technical configuration and support of PeopleSoft HCM.

You will partner with HR, Payroll, and Benefits stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth upgrades and enhancements across Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft HCM experience in a techno-functional capacity.
• Strong functional knowledge of HR/HCM business processes (Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Time & Labor).
• Hands-on PeopleTools development: PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements from HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams and translate them into technical designs.
• Configure, customize, and support PeopleSoft HCM modules including Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Self-Service (ESS/MSS).
• Develop and maintain PeopleSoft objects using PeopleTools — Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
• Build and troubleshoot reports and queries using PS Query, BI Publisher (XML Publisher), SQR, and nVision.
