Job summary

Base One Technologies is seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Lead to drive NYCAPS upgrade activities and deliver customisations across HCM modules. You will lead design, development, testing, and integration efforts, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PeopleSoft/PeopleTools experience, strong SQL/PS/Query skills, upgrade leadership, and excellent communication. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment within NYC.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience with multiple PeopleSoft versions and PeopleTools in HCM.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM applications and HCM branding.
• Implementation, design and customization for PeopleSoft HCM modules (e.g., Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Absence, Payroll).
• Upgrades: at least 3 major upgrades as Technical Lead.
• Experience analyzing reports, keeping/drop decisions, and designing application flows for customizations.
• Data/work unit rollups and work package creation for upgrades.
• Ability to mentor teams and coordinate cross-functional upgrade activities.
• Proficient in SQL/PS/Query for data verification and testing.
• Strong communication, problem solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and embed software development standards and controls in project plans.
• Lead SDLC processes for NYCAPS Upgrade and coordinate across teams.
• Group PeopleSoft objects into work units, estimate packages, and manage developers.
• Create project plans, assign work, review deliverables, and document customisations.
• Ensure deliverables align with fit-gap analysis and business needs.
• Investigate defects and provide timely solutions with technical analysts.
• Track project status and communicate risks and timelines in weekly meetings.
