Job summary

Ask IT Consulting Inc. is seeking a PeopleSoft Project Lead for a 25-month engagement located in Austin, TX. The candidate will lead large PeopleSoft Financials projects, manage ERP lifecycles, and oversee testing, upgrades, and design sessions with business stakeholders.

The role requires extensive PeopleSoft 9.2 and CAPPS baseline experience, strong project leadership, and ability to adapt to evolving business needs and regulatory directions. Proficiency with MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Manager for multiple large projects.
• Designing, creating, and overseeing large complex high availability PeopleSoft Financials.
• Experience managing ERP Development Lifecycles.
• Experience performing PeopleSoft System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test
• Experience with developing PeopleSoft upgrade paths.
• Experience conducting design sessions with SMEs and business process owners to meet requirements with minimal customizations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proven project team building skills.
• Experience writing detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
• Ability to alter project direction based on business needs or legislative directions.

Responsibilities

• Lead PeopleSoft projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Design and oversee upgrades and configuration in PeopleSoft 9.2.
• Manage ERP development lifecycles from planning through deployment.
• Plan and supervise System, Integration, and UAT testing cycles.
• Coordinate with business owners to capture needs and minimize customizations.
• Prepare and review detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs).

1. Experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Manager for multiple large PeopleSoft projects.

11. Experience in IT project planning, research, analysis and development

14. Experience teaming with business owners and technical staff in a complex, large scale PeopleSoft environment 8.8 to 9.2

15. Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2 and People Tools 8.53

16. Experience with the CAPPS State of Texas Baseline PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management

17. Experience in managing and coordinating functional module leads through a PeopleSoft Implementation or Upgrade

18. Experience with the PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management.
