Job summary

• Experience with cross‑module integration (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, Travel & Expense).
• Experience creating and entering Budget and GL Journals and the journal lifecycle.
• Experience configuring new Business Units, Chartfields, Trees, and related structures.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft architectures and external applications.
• Experience with PeopleSoft application engines and lifecycle testing.
• Project management experience and ability to lead functional design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Work on the functional team with advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate on cross‑module integration touchpoints (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, Travel & Expense).
• Create and enter Budget and GL Journals and manage their lifecycle.
• Configure new Business Units, Chartfields, Trees, etc. to meet requirements.
• Engage with PeopleSoft architectures and external applications as needed.
• Participate in production support including issue triage and defect resolution.
• Lead functional design discussions and technical walkthroughs.

Job Duties for GL Staff Aug

• Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK), including deep understanding of ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing frameworks
• This resource will work on the functional team; however, advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting is required
• Comprehensive knowledge of cross‑module integration points, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense with emphasis on interdependency workflows and integration touchpoints
• Experience with creating and entering Budget and GL Journals as well as Journal life cycle
• Experience configuring new Business Units, Combo edits, Chartfields, Trees, etc
• Experience with PeopleSoft architectures with external applications
• Experience working with PeopleSoft application engines
• Project management experience paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including leading functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs.
• Knowledge with PeopleSoft tables and structures for research and analysts
• Experience with production support, including issue triage, defect resolution and incident management
• Comprehensive PeopleSof lifecycle testing experience (i.e., vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, accounts receivable processing), including deep knowledge of test sequencing, data staging, and end‑to‑end business process validation
• Experience writing enhancement documentation which includes and not limited to requirements gathering, business analyst, configuration, identifying tables and code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative options
• Experience with a large Government enterprise solution is desired
