Job summary

The State of Ohio – OBM seeks a Senior Architect 2 with extensive PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 experience focusing on GL and Commitment Control. You will support functional and technical teams, configure ledgers, budgets, and journal workflows, and drive integration across GL, AP, AR, and Travel & Expense.

You will analyze PeopleCode/AE, use PS Tools, Designer, PS Query, and Integration Broker, and provide production support and testing across a large government PeopleSoft environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 experience with GL and KK.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense integration points.
• Experience analyzing PeopleCode and AE programs.
• Proficient with PS Query and PeopleTools.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Experience with production support and incident management.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The State of Ohio – OBM is seeking a Senior Architect 2 / SA2 with extensive PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 experience, specializing in General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK). The resource will work primarily with the functional team while requiring strong technical expertise in PeopleSoft development, troubleshooting, integrations, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 – GL and Commitment Control (KK).
• Configure ledgers, budget structures, Business Units, Combo Edits, ChartFields, Trees, and related financial structures.
• Create and enter Budget and GL Journals and manage the complete journal lifecycle.
• Support cross-module integrations involving GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense.
• Analyze PeopleCode, Application Engine (AE) programs, and other technical objects for root-cause analysis, customizations, and retrofitting.
• Work with PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleTools, PS Query, and Integration Broker.
• Support REST/SOAP and web service integrations with external applications.
• Provide production support, issue triage, defect resolution, and incident management.
• Perform comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing, including purchasing, vouchering, GL journal posting, and AR processing.
• Develop enhancement documentation covering requirements, configuration, tables, code changes, test conditions, risks, and alternatives.
• Lead functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Support a large-scale government enterprise PeopleSoft environment.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense integration points.
