Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking a skilled Peoplesoft Financials consultant for a critical migration project. The role focuses on analyzing a .NET-based legacy system, reverse-engineering business logic, extracting data, and performing standard PeopleSoft development to support ERP integration.

Remote position with hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central; on-site days negotiable if hybrid is needed. US citizenship, GC, or EAD required, no H1B.

Qualifications

• 8+ years development experience with PeopleTools.
• Experience with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher.
• 8+ years experience with an advanced Oracle database.
• Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server stored procedures.
• Legacy to PeopleSoft complex data migrations.
• Public sector experience preferred.
• Experience with CPA CAPPS Financials preferred.
• Experience with Jira preferred.
• Experience with Scrum framework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support an organization's ERP applications.
• Ensures that software can be completely integrated into the ERP system.
• Coordinates software integration and maintains technical documentation.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to document and explain the legacy logic to the project team and stakeholders.
• Standard SDLC tasks and other project tasks as needed. Depending on the project phase, some off-hours may be required.
