Job Role Profile: PeopleSoft Developer

Purpose: Develop, maintain, and support a portfolio of software applications and services to ensure improved business efficiencies, aligned with enterprise architecture and business strategy.

Total Experience: 7+ years

Educational Qualifications: B.Sc / M.Sc / MCA / BE in IT or Computer Science

Relevant Experience:

• 5+ years of development experience using PeopleTools.
• Experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Extensive experience in Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Fluid development is advantageous.

Key Accountabilities/KRAs/KPIs:

1. Conduct analysis based on requirements from Business Analysts.
2. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and document specifications.
3. Assess functionality fit and impact on existing modules and customizations.
4. Develop functionalities as per specifications using PeopleSoft tools.
5. Write readable, maintainable, and reusable code.
6. Provide regular feedback to scrum teams, analysts, and testers on design and timelines.
7. Develop, test, and deploy new system components.
8. Review code and maintain existing programs for system enhancements.
9. Co-create test cases with DevOps team.
10. Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), resolving issues.
11. Contribute to UAT and training materials.
12. Identify solutions based on UAT requirements.
13. Migrate tested development into production environment.
14. Monitor performance and recommend improvements.
15. Log and resolve issues in existing systems, including interfaces, SQRs, integrations, App Engines, REST services.
16. Provide expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
17. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
18. Ensure delivery of service level agreements.
19. Recommend improvements to client service and fairness.
20. Participate in a culture of feedback, relationship building, and exceptional service.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of development experience using PeopleTools.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Proficiency in Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
• Fluid development experience is advantageous.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodology.
