Job summary

TCS is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer for a 12-month onsite engagement in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on designing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications, developing integrations, and supporting CI/CD and security configurations.

The candidate will work with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, AE, CI, PS Query, and WorkCenters, delivering REST and SOAP services, and ensuring robust production support and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools 8.5x/8.6x.
• Develop and customize PeopleCode, AE, CI, Pages, Components, Records, Fields, Menus, and File Layouts.
• Work with PS Query, Event Mapping, and WorkCenters.
• Perform application customization, enhancements, debugging, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools 8.5x/8.6x.
• Develop and customize PeopleCode, AE, CI, Pages, Components, Records, Fields, Menus, and File Layouts.
• Work with PS Query, Event Mapping, and WorkCenters.
• Perform application customization, enhancements, debugging, and production support.
• Design and develop integrations using PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• Work with XML/JSON, SFTP, and file-based integrations.
• Support Kafka-based event generation and integrations.
• Collaborate with integration teams to troubleshoot interface and messaging issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain PeopleTools and PIA environments.
• Perform PeopleSoft environment setup, cloning, and domain configuration.
• Configure and administer Application Server, Web Server, and Process Scheduler domains.
• Support WebLogic and Tuxedo administration.
• Manage SSL/SSO configurations and PeopleSoft security.
• Perform performance monitoring, cache/log analysis, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery support.
• Manage roles, permission lists, and user security.
• Work extensively with Oracle Database.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries and procedures.
• Perform PeopleSoft object and project migrations using CAPI, Change Assistant, and change packages.
• Manage compare, merge, copy, and migration activities.
• Support PeopleTools upgrades, patching, and environment refreshes.
• Support CI/CD processes using Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Use Unix Shell / PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.
• Develop Python 3.x solutions using OOP, data structures, functions, decorators, context managers, exception handling, file I/O, JSON/CSV parsing, and concurrent processing.
• Support Java-based integrations and messaging solutions.
• Use JUnit for Java testing where applicable.
• Support Kafka event generation and integration.
