Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the implementation of ERP financial modules to the project's scope, budget and timeline.
• Designs specific project plans including timelines, business cases, and resources ensuring design signoff by management.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify areas where customization or process changes may be required.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather and validate business requirements.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating financial needs into system functionalities.
• Manage client expectations, ensuring alignment between project deliverables and business goals.
• Produces effective progress reports and communication mechanisms for the tower to keep management appraised of the status, major risks and issues, scope changes, budgets, and milestone achievements or misses. Reports on metrics to measure all project benefits, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Drives technology implementation, ensuring proper configuration and coordinate effective testing, deployment, go- live and stabilization independently or as part of a wider transformation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Works with technology teams to ensure business requirements are translated to functional specifications
• Closely monitors the progress of build by technology teams, and coordinates where necessary
• Drives User Acceptance Testing (UAT} following completion of Systems Integration Testing (SIT)
• Supports Go-live and Hypercare activities
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA is a plus. Minimum 4-6 years of related experience.

Technical skills

• Peoplesoft FSCM & Coupa System knowledge, expertise in modules such as General Ledger, Procure to Pay processes, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience in minimum 2 project lifecycles include design, build, testing and post implementation support.

Financial skills

• Finance and accounting expertise including knowledge of financial terms and principles. Awareness of Tax Regulations, GAAP, IFRS or other financial standards.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information to various types of audiences including technical, financial and leadership.

Reasoning ability

• Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Project Management

• Experience with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies or hybrid approaches to handle ERP implementations. Hands on experience in at least 2 ERP implementation projects in finance domain.

Other Skills and/or Abilities

• Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, SmartSheets, JIRA, Azure & Service Now is desirable.
• Strong solutions oriented skills.
• Broad Solution Architecture knowledge and skills (PeopleSoft).
