Samsung SDS America is seeking a dynamic, hands‑on People Team Coordinator to join our HR team at the Plano, Texas headquarters. The role focuses on employee relations, HR operations, and ensuring a seamless employee experience.

You will partner with the existing People Team to manage onboarding, records accuracy, payroll support, and benefits coordination while upholding employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience as HR Administrator or HR Business Partner.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience handling employee relations issues independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employee relations matters while ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices.
• Coach managers on employee performance, engagement, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and organizational changes.
• Ensure accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, leave administration, and employee documentation.
• Support payroll processing via correspondence with Payroll Admin for employee changes.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
• Support hiring managers during periods of rapid organizational growth.
• Coordinate new employee orientation and integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and HR best practices.
• Participate in HR initiatives that improve employee experience and operational excellence.
• Support HR programs, policies, and technology.
• Support corporate relocation and organizational integration projects.
