Job summary

Turning Point Brands, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a People & Talent Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting and act as a trusted HR partner across business areas.

You will support workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. You will collaborate with managers to forecast staffing needs, source candidates, screen and interview, and guide leaders on market conditions, while promoting compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of recruiting and HR experience.
• Experience supporting leaders and employees in a consultative capacity.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• General awareness of ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements and related policies.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and company policies including FDA related areas.

Responsibilities

• Manages the end-to-end recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Sources candidates through multiple channels and maintains talent pipelines.
• Conducts candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer administration.
• Advises leaders regarding market conditions, hiring trends, and recruiting best practices.
• Acts as the primary People contact for assigned departments.
• Provides guidance regarding policy interpretation, performance concerns, employee relations matters, and workplace issues.
• Partners with leaders to address organizational and talent challenges.
• Assists with resolving employee concerns and workplace issues.
• Conducts preliminary investigations and fact-finding activities.
• Supports corrective action and performance management processes.
• Facilitates talent review and succession planning activities.
• Supports annual performance review processes.
• Assists managers with employee development planning.
• Partners with leaders to anticipate staffing needs.
• Monitors turnover, hiring trends, and workforce metrics.
• Recommends workforce solutions based on business needs.
