Job summary

Target is seeking a Human Resources Expert to greet guests and support store teams with recruitment, scheduling, training and payroll practices.

You will work with store leadership to anticipate staffing needs, deliver HR programs, and ensure safety and compliance in a busy retail environment. Flexible scheduling includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting wage is $16.00 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment law.
• Experience using basic Office Suite computer and workforce management programs.
• Knowledge of industry leading people and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
• Observe to understand whether a guest needs assistance and tailor your approach.
• Engage with guests to understand their needs and offer solutions.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products and services to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Support the training needs of the store's sales force and advocate for continuous learning.
• Act as an open door by listening to team members and collaborating with leaders to take action.
