Job summary

BlueRock Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director, People Strategy and Engagement to partner with senior leaders, translate business priorities into a sharper people strategy, and advance culture, leadership practices, and ways of working as BlueRock grows.

You will lead the People Strategy team, shape integrated talent models, drive DEIB initiatives, organization design, and cross-functional collaboration, guiding data-driven decisions and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience partnering with senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to travel up to 25% across BlueRock locations.
• Business leader mindset with experience scaling organizations and translating strategy into people solutions.
• Proven cross-team consulting, partnering, and influence skills.
• Strong leadership, judgment, emotional intelligence, and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders and connect business priorities to people strategy.
• Lead the People Strategy team to deliver integrated, high-performing programs.
• Design scalable approaches to talent management, engagement, development, and DEIB.
• Clarify structures, decision rights, and operating models for BlueRock’s growth.
• Assess capability needs and guide resource allocation based on data-driven insights.
• Use workforce insights and external trends to improve organizational health and readiness.
• Coach leaders to build stronger teams and clearer talent decisions.
• Provide strategic leadership for internal DEIB efforts and inclusive leadership behaviors.
