Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking a People Services Generalist Supervisor to oversee HR functions across Donated Goods and Retail divisions in North Versailles, PA. The role focuses on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and policy interpretation.

You will supervise Retail Generalists, ensure compliance with employment laws, and partner with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Training, and Risk Management to deliver people-first support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience OR higher degree with requisite HR experience.
• Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant HR experience OR Bachelor’s with 3+ years.
• Supervisory experience in HR or People Services and knowledge of HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site People Services support to Donated Goods and Retail employees and managers.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance in hiring practices.
• Coordinate benefits, training, and employee well-being programs and policies.
• Support compliance with employment laws and company policies across regions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the generalist team and monitor performance.
• Travel to multiple locations within the Goodwill SWPA territory as required.
