Job summary

Alexander Dennis Limited in Las Vegas is seeking a People Services Specialist to support recruitment, employee relations, safety programs, and performance initiatives within our Human Resources team. You will partner with employees and management across North America to ensure compliant HR processes and a positive workplace culture.

Be part of our Las Vegas team, supporting Southern Nevada's transportation and manufacturing sector by recruiting top talent for our bus manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years HR experience focused on recruitment, employee relations and safety.
• Knowledge of HR legislation and labor laws; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with ADP or similar HRIS; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and selection: postings, interviews, references, offers.
• Maintain recruitment databases and task statistics.
• Maintain HRIS and benefits data including hires, changes, and terminations.
• Complete workplace investigations through HR channels.
• Support safety initiatives with local teams and management.
• Coordinate employee meetings, orientation, feedback, and exit procedures.
• Plan and execute employee engagement events throughout the year.
• Assist in developing and rolling out HR policies and procedures; keep them updated.
• Provide guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline.
