Job summary

Target is looking for a Human Resources Expert to join our team in Washington, DC. You will support recruiting, scheduling, and guest-focused HR processes while ensuring compliance and delivering a friendly, efficient guest experience.

You will collaborate with store leaders and HR peers to address staffing needs, train teammates, and uphold safety and ethics. This is a dynamic, frontline HR role in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate across devices and operate scanners and tech as directed.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting guests at 10ft and 4ft.
• Help guests find what they need or resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates.
• Support team member training needs and advocate for continuous learning.
