Job summary

Citizens Bank of Kansas is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join Team CBK in Derby, Kansas. This hands-on role supports payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding and employee relations across the bank.

The ideal candidate has broad HR experience, strong communication and judgment, and the ability to build relationships with employees and leadership. SHRM/HRCI certification is preferred, Paycom experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least three years of broad, hands-on Human Resources experience.
• Payroll experience required.
• Experience with benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding and employee relations.
• SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.
• Paycom experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day HR workflow and serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers.
• Process payroll and manage payroll-related administration and reporting.
• Administer employee benefits and assist teammates with benefit questions, enrollment and changes.
• Manage recruiting from job posting through candidate communication, interviews and hiring.
• Coordinate onboarding and help create a great experience for new teammates.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management and other employee matters.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation and required reporting.
• Coordinate employee changes, leaves, departures and other employment-related processes.
• Help ensure HR practices, policies and processes are consistent and compliant.
• Work closely with leadership on HR needs and priorities across the bank.
• Be a trusted, approachable resource and a great representative of Team CBK.
