WHEDA is seeking two People Partners (HR Generalists) to join the People Strategy & Experience team in the Madison facility. The role covers payroll, benefits, HRIS, recruitment support, employee relations, leave management, and analytics to improve the employee experience.

You will work across the employee lifecycle with leaders to ensure compliant, people-centric solutions. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 3–5 years HR generalist experience, and SHRM certification is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• SHRM or other HR certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Payroll, benefits & HRIS administration and data integrity.
• Talent acquisition coordination and workforce planning activities.
• Employee relations, investigations, and coaching for leaders.
• Leave administration (FMLA) and accommodation coordination.
• Performance management support and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Onboarding, offboarding, employee experience programs.
• HR data, reporting, analytics to inform decisions.
• Policy updates, process improvements, and cross-functional projects.
