Job summary

About The Role

As a People Partner, you will serve as a trusted HR advisor to frontline operations across multiple stations and states, delivering both strategic and hands-on people support. You will partner closely with leaders to drive employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. This role supports the Frontline People Organization (FLPO) and plays a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture while navigating a dynamic business environment characterized by growth and change. The position requires regular on-site presence, regional travel, and the ability to influence leaders while balancing operational and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, leaves of absence, attendance concerns, and workplace issues.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide coaching and guidance on performance management, talent development, and employee matters.
  • Support multiple operational sites across several states, ensuring consistent HR partnership and compliance.
  • Lead and support annual People Function processes, workforce planning, and organizational initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, culture, retention, and development initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Act as a strategic partner to regional leadership by providing insights on talent, attrition, compensation, and people trends.
Who We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong employee relations and investigation experience supporting frontline and hourly employee populations.
  • Experience supporting multiple sites, leaders, and geographically dispersed operations.
  • Proven ability to lead or support change management initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and proactive, with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership mentality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Torrance, CA (Fully on-site, 5 days per week)
Travel Expectations: Approximately 25% regional travel across multiple sites and states.
Salary: $95,000 - $115,000*

  • The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
