Tecovas is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations & Total Rewards to own our benefits programs, build scalable compensation practices, and oversee HR systems for our multi-state workforce. You’ll translate data into actionable recommendations, ensuring ongoing compliance and alignment with our growth strategy.

This role blends builder and operator responsibilities, maintaining core processes while improving how we support our people and preserve Tecovas’ culture.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of progressive HR experience with 3+ years owning benefits and/or compensation programs
• Experience in equity and executive compensation
• Experience in a public company or late-stage, high-growth company with mature compensation governance
• Experience with a multi-state retail or hourly workforce, variable-hour ACA eligibility
• HRIS implementation or migration experience
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-moving company

Aufgaben

• Own benefits program end-to-end, including administration, carrier and broker relationships, and eligibility audits
• Lead annual renewals and open enrollment, including cost modeling, contribution strategy, plan design, and system setup; create clear communications for employees
• Oversee COBRA, nondiscrimination testing, ACA compliance, and required plan filings
• Own leave and disability policies and vendor relationships, guiding complex leave and accommodation cases
• Partner with Finance to model merit and promotion budgets and run annual review cycles
• Conduct regular pay equity reviews and state pay data reporting
• Maintain compensation guidelines and support Talent Acquisition with offer guidance
• Lead executive compensation benchmarking with external consultants and survey providers
• Prepare compensation analyses for senior leadership and the Board
• Strengthen documentation, approval workflows, and internal controls across compensation and payroll processes
• Own the employee handbook and policy updates across states of operation
• Manage HR documentation across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Own hiring, onboarding, and HR compliance for the Mexico team
• Maintain an HR compliance calendar for filings and notices
• Use approved AI tools and automation to simplify routine work
• Serve as system owner for the HRIS and lead HR technology implementations
• Build and maintain people reporting on headcount, turnover, benefits enrollment, and compensation
• Manage systems and workflows behind annual performance review cycle with People Strategy & Development
