Job summary

Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is seeking an organized HR & Safety Coordinator for our Kansas City, KS distribution center. This role blends human resources, safety, and office administration, supporting employees and operations across multiple shifts.

You will manage onboarding, attendance, payroll/docs, and employee relations while ensuring OSHA/DOT compliance. The position involves quarterly travel to regional locations and collaborating with跨-dock managers and the HR team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of human resources experience.
• Prior office management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of human resources practices, employment law, employee benefits, and confidential recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and hazard communication standards.

Responsibilities

• Support employee relations for warehouse and office staff across multiple shifts and respond to HR questions.
• Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and manage onboarding through the ATS.
• Maintain attendance, PTO, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, and FMLA documentation.
• Collaborate with HR on employee concerns, disciplinary matters, and resolutions.
• Assist regional managers during quarterly visits to delivery hub locations.
• Promote OSHA and related safety compliance and training programs.
