Job summary

Mechanix Wear in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee packaging, warehouse, or distribution operations and the supervision, performance, and time management of staff. The position requires strong leadership, ERP/WMS knowledge, and the ability to manage timecards, recruit and train staff, and enforce company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent preferred.
• Three to Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to staff in all activities.
• Monitor workflow and ensure objectives are met with improvements as needed.
• Motivate and coach staff to maximize productivity while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Create a labor plan with other Supervisors to ensure Distribution Center success.
• Enforce policies, SOPs, and safety regulations across the team.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
• Write and amend SOPs with approval of Director of Operations.
