Ladders is seeking a People Ops Manager to own core people operations for a fast-growing organization in the Finance & Insurance space. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, support performance management, and ensure operational consistency with a strong emphasis on compliance and discretion.

You will partner with managers, leadership, and legal to streamline workflows, design scalable systems, and drive high accountability across the business.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of HR operations or generalist experience, ideally in high-growth startups.
• Strong experience with performance review design and manager support workflows.
• Proven ability to design and refine operational workflows.
• Ability to implement structure in fast-paced environments without over-simplifying processes.
• Solid knowledge of employee lifecycle, compliance, and documentation best practices.

For our client, we are seeking a People Ops Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will own core people operations for a fast-growing organization, with a strong focus on employee lifecycle processes, performance management support, and operational consistency. You will partner closely with managers, leadership, and legal partners to improve workflows, strengthen compliance, and support scalable people practices across the business. The position offers the opportunity to build trusted systems in a high-accountability environment where precision, discretion, and ownership matter.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities
