Job summary

Fireworks AI, Inc. is seeking a hands-on People Operations Specialist to join our People team and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will manage onboarding, HRIS data integrity, contractor lifecycle, immigration support, and internal documentation, partnering with HRBP, Recruiting, Finance, IT, and Workplace.

Ideal for someone early in HR, with strong organizational skills and a bias for action, who can adapt to changing priorities and provide clear, timely answers to employees.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role
• Highly organized with a track record of juggling multiple workstreams
• Resourceful and self-directed — able to unblock yourself to get things done
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Discretion and good judgment handling confidential employee information
• Experience with an HRIS such as Rippling is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day HRIS updates and employee data integrity
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding logistics for new hires
• Manage contractor lifecycle including onboarding, tracking, and offboarding
• Support immigration case processing and keep timelines
• Own internal HR wiki and maintain current processes
• Assist with employee recognition programs and rewards
