Horizontal Talent is seeking a People Operations & Benefits Specialist in Minnesota to oversee benefits administration, HR tech stack, and employee support. You will be the first point of contact for HR inquiries and help ensure data accuracy across systems such as Paylocity.

The role handles benefit enrollments, COBRA, onboarding/offboarding, leave processing, and audits to support compliance. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential, with a Bachelor’s in HR or related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• Approximately 2–4 years of HR or People Operations experience with exposure to benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first-line support for HR inquiries and manage the HR inbox.
• Administer health and welfare benefits including enrollment changes and COBRA.
• Ensure data accuracy across HRIS and benefit vendor systems (e.g., Paylocity).
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, leave processes, and audits for compliance and reporting.
