Thrive Market in Reno, NV is seeking a Human Resources Associate with strong analytical and communication skills. The role focuses on staffing solutions, HRIS changes, and payroll coordination in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will partner with People Ops to support onboarding, reporting, and employment policy interpretation while maintaining confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities with problem solving.
• Experience with MS Office and collaboration tools (Zoom/Slack/GSuite).

Responsibilities

• Assist staffing employees and HR on all functional issues.
• Resolve administrative staffing issues and prepare reports.
• Process employment changes in HRIS and payroll coordination.
• Support monthly People Ops activities and onboarding/orientation.
• Collaborate with HR leaders on compliant, values-aligned initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
