Job summary

Bitvavo is searching for a dedicated People Operations Specialist to run the employee lifecycle across its pan-European multi-entity setup, ensuring smooth onboarding to offboarding and accurate core HR processes. Based in Amsterdam, you will bring structure to high-volume operational work with growing expertise in People Ops across our European entities.

You will manage employee data in Personio, support benefits, contracts, visas, leaves, and reporting, and collaborate with People Business

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in People Operations or HR Generalist role.
• At least 2 years experience in the Dutch market with Dutch labour law.
• Reliable, detail oriented, and committed to accuracy.
• Own recurring processes end to end and escalate when needed.
• Experience in fast-paced, tech or scale-up environments.
• Experience with HRIS, EOR services or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, managing requests through our ticketing system within SLAs.
• Provide day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, visas, leaves, and data changes.
• Input and validate employee data in Personio and maintain digital employee files across entities.
• Prepare basic payroll mutations and support payroll accuracy.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding end to end for a unified experience.
• Create and maintain People Ops documentation, templates and checklists.
• Maintain data accuracy and contribute to monthly reporting.
• Escalate non-standard or high-risk issues to the Team Lead with clear context.
• Collaborate with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, managers and stakeholders.

Location This role is based in Amsterdam. Relocation is not available for this position, and we are only considering candidates who are currently residing in the Netherlands.

• Provide day to day support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, visas, leaves and data changes, across our multi entity setup
• Input and validate employee data in Personio, supporting accurate and up to date digital employee files across our entities
• Prepare basic payroll mutations, such as salary changes, allowances, deductions and leave requests, and support the payroll accuracy process
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding tasks end to end, ensuring a smooth and unified experience for new hires and leavers
• Assist in creating and maintaining People Ops documentation, templates and checklists, and help spot opportunities to streamline manual steps in the processes you run
• Maintain data accuracy and contribute to monthly reporting
• Escalate non standard, high risk or complex issues to the Team Lead with clear context
• Build growing knowledge of People Ops processes, compliance requirements across our entities, and HRIS capabilities
• Collaborate closely with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, managers and other business stakeholders to provide high quality operational support

Требования:

This role requires at least 3 years of experience in a People Operations or HR Generalist role, including a mandatory minimum of 2 years of experience in the Dutch market with Dutch labour law. We are not able to consider candidates without this experience.

You are reliable, detail oriented, and genuinely care about getting things right for the people you support.

You are comfortable owning recurring processes end to end, but you also know when something is outside the standard playbook, and loop in your Team Lead with the context they need to make fast decisions.

Ideally gained in a fast paced, tech or scale-up environment

Comfortable managing administrative processes across multiple entities

Strong prioritization and attention to detail, able to handle multiple open threads at once without losing accuracy

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Exposure to HR practices in other European countries

Experience with HRIS systems, EOR services or ticketing systems
