Job summary

Premier Trailer Leasing is seeking a highly organized Human Resources and Payroll Specialist to join our Plano, TX team. The role covers recruiting, onboarding, payroll processing and ensuring labor law compliance in a mid-sized operation.

You will manage 60 payroll cycles across bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules, administer benefits, and maintain HRIS data with systems like ExponentHR and Paycor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent HR/payroll experience.
• Experience with payroll processing, recruiting, onboarding and HR support.
• Strong payroll laws, regulations, and compliance knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• In-office role with occasional after-hours events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll cycles, audits, and tax compliance.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and candidate screenings.
• Maintain employee records in HRIS (Jobvite/ExponentHR/Paycor/etc.).
• Handle employee benefits programs and inquiries.
• Prepare HR and payroll reports for regulators.
